Coming home from Dunedin we drove under the light of this full moon and stopped to take a photo. Had been down looking at a new vehicle to pull our Cara Vanski more efficiently.
Three good things;
1. Not a completely wasted day.
2. Was one of the few people to see a very bright light in the sky falling with a tail. I rushed to take a photo but couldn't focus on it and just got a blurry streak. Turned out to be rare spacecraft debris!
3. Cheap lunch in a small cafe cost $12!
Great shot, glad you saw the whole of the moon. I don't think we're going to see it tonight, the sky has just clouded over after being completely clear all day!
wowza! most of the time the moon would just be a bright round thingie, but you captured this scene with the details on the moon's surface. aces, maggiemae. aces!
great pic.. regarding who am I... He is a soft shell turtle and hangs with the turtles at my lake... never seen his body but when googled there is no question... thanks so much for you comment,, happy shooting!!!!
Was it exciting to see it even if it was debris?
