Box of books

This is one of the little boxes around Dunedin (NZ) and is known as "The Little Free Library" You can take a book but it is hoped you replace it with one of yours!

Three good things:
1. There was no snow on the road down here.
2. My "High Country" photo was accepted in the line up on NZ Metservice weather site - as well as on TT!
3. Freezing down here so very glad I bought my big feather jacket.

We've got book trees in the city centre where children can find a book and put another one in its place. It's such a great idea.

Love the idea. Sounds like BookCrossing ... I've tried this before but simply couldn't leave my books anywhere! Totally obsessive about books I am ... been known to save them out of gutters ... sigh

I love these little libraries. we have one a few streets away from ours and I go and exchange books there all the time. unfortunately it's so packed, you can hardly get at them.

I think this is a lovely idea. Often books are only read once then you have the problem as to what to do with them, this solves the problem nicely.
