Now this is a real Russian doll given to me by my mother after her Russian visit to her sister, way back in the 1960’s! To tie it up she , Ekaterina, is wallowing in the fox fur also left to me by my Mum. Mum died in 2000! Remembering my mother…..
Three good things:
1. Ekaterina, our sweet Russian lady is gasping for air here and awaiting her boyfriend, Georgy to save her from being totally enveloped!
2. Georgy is too busy practicing his Cossack dance! He’s confused as to which leg to wrap around his other and has fallen over in a decidedly Russian mess!
3. I liked the way this beautiful thick, golden fur looked in B&W!
Tiny Ekaterina is almost swamped in the fur, but, I eagerly await the next installment !! Will Georgy stop practicing & rescue her ?? Love the concept & the fox fur does look luxuriant ! Fav
I could sink into that fur too, you would never get out of there alive!
Two new characters, I wonder if they will meet up with Yolanda & Mr Man one day. Georgy has timed his dancing well on the night of the first Strictly Come Dancing competition in the UK. He wants to join in the action. He needs to watch & pick up some good moves, quite a few Russian professionals on.
@happypat Imagine that fur around your neck, Pat! I wish I could wear it nowadays! Only for fancy dress it seems. Georgy Peorgy might have to pull his socks up for Strictly Come Dancing!
Hmmmm, fox fur, I'm a bit anti but I guess years ago it was the thing and as a memory from your Mum it must be a lovely thing to have. I like how soft it looks in this shot xx
@psychographer You are really the same as most people nowadays! But this one was before all that and I would really like to wear it. Not got enough nerve though!
Having just spent an enjoyable quarter of an hour, reading Ekaterina's adventures, I can't help feeling she would have been better off staying snugly in the fox fur. But, then, what is life without adventures?
