The idea is the incentive. I saw this somewhere and wanted to achieve. I had to get the iPhone to be exactly level.
On the movie, "Light across Oceans" further - - I discovered that the idea must have come from the fact that the German, Count Felix von Luckner who we all know and who was an incredible adventurer, was a temporary lighthouse keeper on Cape Leeuwin, the most south westerly point of Australia for 6 months. He abandoned the post when he was found with the hotel-keepers' daughter by her father!! This was presumably where the book was set but the film used Cape Campbell Lighthouse in NZ for the story.
This guy during World War I scuttled about 10 ships and took all prisoner! He was finally caught and imprisoned in an island in the Auckland Harbour but escaped. Eventually recaptured and remained in NZ prisoner of war camps till after the war! A fascinating tale if you follow Wikipedia!
Three good things;
1. These two bushes, rhododendron and ceanothus are actually very much colouring our outlook.
