View out the door

A very quick post as I’ve only got 10% on this computer and we are currently in rather beautiful place but with no facilities! We have a battery and full gas tank but no electricity to recharge the computer!
The area is called Tussock Creek and is a series of man made ponds for some reason! We are tucked in beside two of these ponds and watching wildlife. Identified Australian Coots, NZ scaup and the usual mallards The coots sound like a rotary clothesline going round which needs oil!

Three good things:
1. The TV goes!
2. The ducks are very nervous and try to let the world know that we should not be there!
3. We are there! Its heaven!

Wonderful scene, beautifully captured. There's a gadget called an inverter that will provide 240v from your 12v battery. Even a small one could recharge your computer, camera and phone.

@tonydebont Thanks Tony - we have got one of theses and can plug it into the car to recharge. First time we did this, it ran the car battery down and this damned thing wouldn't start. So now we run the car while charging but John says diesel engines don't like to idle for too long! So I got 40% but that's now down to 20% just in a couple of looks at 365

You see green leafed trees, we see leafless trees waiting for winter snows to arrive. I used to not mind, but I am beginning to.
