This stay was a bit further north than our recent south and was in a POP. Its called Park Over Properties and is available for members for the Caravan’s Society in NZ. The only charge was for electricity which we didn’t need if we didn’t want to use our plugs in the Caravan for…. but I like our breakfast smoothies!
Internet is tricky here -goes on and off - without my permission!
Three Good Things:
1. A huge mountain race ( called ‘fell running”) that started at 6am just down the road where we were camped ( I wasnt’ going to be there) This is the 2nd place getter running out of the bush - 60km over mountains! Just under 5 hours!
2. Got my day’s exercise just going down to the finishing point.
3. Met a lovely couple on a motorbike from Latvia!
The motor bike couple would be delighted to meet Burt Munro's son! We have the Caravan Club in the UK. My brother is a keen caravaner & now they have retired spend many a day towing it here & there. They have gone south fir the winter to Spain etc meeting like wise people they meet up with all over the place. They are coming to NZ in March to see our boys then onto Aus to see their daughter & family. Not in the caravan I might add!! Always on at me & Harry to get a van but it's not for us, I would be on edge the whole time towing a caravan in our traffic! A hotel for me please but there again we don't go away that often! Dublin fir me end of this week! 🍾❤️👏🏻😀
