I wanted to keep the photo that was on my sister’s funeral leaflet as it showed her beauty and her happiness - I’m going to remember that!
The other picture was in the middle of the leaflet and showed my two sisters and me aged about - me 6, Mary 7 and Joan 3years. It was softly produced and well done.
Three good things
1. Got my fingernails dirty planting a small plant elsewhere.
2. John was repairing broken glass in the glass house and tried to speak to me with several nails in his mouth! Men do nails and we do ‘pins’ - sewing!
3. My engagement diamond is sparkling - means he loves me!
I'm so sorry you lost your sister. It can be a devastating loss but I love the keepsake pictures. Pooh says we are lucky to have had someone so worth missing.
I have been really behind with 365 so have not seen you recent posts, was so sorry to of your loss of your sister, wising you happy memories and comfort.
What a very handsome couple your sister & brother in law are on their wedding day. A very Happy bride she looks too! Lovely to see you & your siblings as children. Glad you are able to look back with love. It's good to be loved, we all need love in our lives!
It's nice to have photos to remember people and events and these are obviously quite special now. I wonder what will happen in the future given that lots of photos are kept on computers, hard drives etc.
The family likeness is easily seen, yet as we grow up much can alter the way we look. Nonetheless nothing can take away the love, affection and concern we have for those e hold dear
