In our camping area to the left and to the right are families as it is still school holidays.
The right hand family of 2 adults and 3 children all had bikes each and were very well behaved. Not one mobile phone to be seen! This is the older son sitting in the evening sun and thinking…..?
Just after this, father came round and said something and the two them disappeared.
The only aggravation came from a new camper with a huge caravan and a large black labrador which came out and barked! His main target was a caravan opposite where a single lady lived with her three ginger cats!
Three good things:
1. The usual daily water fight took place over at the playground and some of them came back completely covered in mud!
2. Good mobile coverage here so can interact on the internet.
3. Some of the huge and wonderful trees here are almost 200 feet high!
Campgrounds can be such a good place for people watching. This young guy looks like he might be "thinking of his behaviour" as in "time out" maybe/ Makes for an interesting image and the lighting is lovely. I would love to see a photo of the daily water fight. They were always such fun with our boys.
Nice to see that some families have better things to do than be on mobiles & all things tech, unusual these days! I noticed our two boys were both watching something on iPads when apwe skyped the other day. Good job they also have an active life! Looks beautiful countryside! You tell a good story of your surroundings!
@happypat Perhaps this family says, no phones when we are away camping! Its fun to be able to watch what's going on and be in your own little secure place!
It looks like a nicely placed bench for the afternoon sun. I used to love camping in our summer holidays. We'd go for 3 weeks every year, 2 years to the South Island and then 1 year in the North.
Looks and sounds like he's waiting to do something with Dad. Too bad about the noisy dog- the only way that will stop is if one of them leaves. I like how warm this shot feels with that lighting.
