The Light by maggiemae

The Light

Took a zoom photo of this lighthouse and added some beams of light. Playing with nature!

Our little grassy knoll was all ours for a while as the other caravan packed up and left about 8am! It was rather nice watching the tide come in and surround us. Then…… 9 huge motorhomes arrived and parked all around us. John was going to open the window and yodel followed by a ‘P..&%$ off! But we didn’t.

Three good things:
1 . A nice coffee in a waterfront cafe built over the water in the 1920’s. Watched a group of 2 man yachts go out and try their hand at sailing.
2. Scallops are good here as are mussels - tender and full of flavour.
3. Surviving on no power - computers on survival mode.
Neat effect and tones. Love lighthouses. And coffee at the cafe sounds wonderful!

Nice scene, especially with the added beams of light. I hope that you still had some peace and quiet even after the crowd arrived!
