Time to move on - further round the coast. Got sent out via the GPS to an odd place to camp, no…! But found a tiny cafe here in front of the marina where the tide was out to a number of big boats and yachts. A fresh sausage roll, and a savoury muffin right out of the oven made us feel this was a place to remember. Not a place to camp though.
Three good things;
1. Found a good place to camp beside an hotel called ‘The Honest Lawyer”! Is there one?
2. No power so our computers are going to be shut down pretty quickly! Good for more reading..
3. A promise of a good day tomorrow - today was rain but not cold!

Yes we had some great times. We also drove from Nice to Riverside, California and on the way stopped at @darlene Darlene's for awhile. Last Saturday another outing was planned, where we drove fom here to Sacramento to visit one more time with Darlene and her husband. A trip to her favourite park was immenent. We had so much fun.
You are having a good trip. I know exactly where you are although I didn't know there was a cafe there these days. The Honest Lawyer is a bit of a contradiction in itself (apologies to all the lawyers out there). Are you coming over to Marlborough Sounds by any chance. We have camping spaces at our place on the beachfront.
@kiwinanna Probably not due to the Picton Kaikoura road not being open - would have to back track. In the meantime Nelson has put on a wonderful day! Sitting on waterfront with coffee

@maggiemae I understand completely - it is such a shame the road is still closed as it was so scenic. Enjoy Nelson as it is such a beautiful place. We lived there for many years until our kids left home.
You both look chilled out...and all the better. Your self timer must have a reasonable delay to enable to look so composed after a quick dash back to your chair. How to keep fit whilst on vacation!
Looks like such a wonderful place to spend time. Not many honest lawyers at all. You make me laugh. Raining here again in CA. We are full of water, rain water that is. Just in time for Bruni and her husband to leave. So sad to see them go. Never enough time to spend with people. We had such a nice time together.
You two look very cool and relaxed... just as you should be on holiday. Surprised that your car needed new tyres so soon... I traded in my last one with over 80K km on the clock and still on the original tyres.
