Not the result I wanted after looking at an idea for a photo challenge. The background was supposed to be black and white lines. And they said with a flash but that did not work.
Three good things;
1. Its only water in those liquor glasses.
2. Rain all day but no flooding yet! Cyclone Cook is arriving.
3. Fred Dagg was a NZ delight - John calls everyone male, Trev….. and this is where he got it from. “Fred Dagg had 12 sons all called Trev! Also I’m his “old sheila”! John Clarke who started out life as Fred Dagg - gumboots and black singlet - shifted to Australia because his wife wanted that. He died recently aged only 68.
Looks great ..yes NZ lost a couple of icon recently with Murry Ball and John Clark... we had two ginger cats when we were first married and both their names were Trev..
This may not have been what you pictured in your mind but it is a very fascinating photo you have created a very interesting effect with all the reflections and the great light. Pity it's only water in the glasses!
@grammyn I don't think liquor would have the same reflective clarity and besides, I would keep having to try a sip - or two then after replacing the liquor over a period, I would then be trying to do the photo from the floor!
I think this is very cool even if it didn't work the way you wanted it too. I had to turn the laptop on its side to read the words about NZ which is a nice touch too. Stay safe and dry over the next 24-36 hours. Fav
@kiwinanna Hey, Liana - good for you for turning the pic on its side. This was one of two books we got - the back side of "Mobile NZ Travel Guide' South Island - 5th edition -1992 believe it or not!
