Raining most of the day but not a situation out of control from Cyclone Cook. We will miss it. The misty rain was all over these fuchsias and I wanted to do a 2.8 exposure to get colourful big fuchsia blobs in the background. My camera won’t do what I want it to do and so I have to make the best of things.
Three good things:
1. Had to use a tripod for this, hand held was not good enough for the near focus.
2. Away again tomorrow to the Blue Pub territory (there is also a Brown Pub, equally historic) to support a motorbike Street Race called Mountain Thunder!
3. I just love the music, ‘Saint Anthony Chorale” I’m playing it on the keyboard all day! ……. well a small part of the day! https://youtu.be/v5XlnFRuaRw
The music is quite soothing and a wonderful accompaniment to this beautiful shot of your fuchsias. I love the blobs in the back. It's so easy to tell they are fuchsias because of the color
It paid off to use your tripod in this shot. What great clarity, color and love the background too. I did not know you play the keyboard. Will have to check out the link. FAV
