Mrs M by maggiemae

Mrs M

On a walk to post a letter, I passed this little lady under a hedge - nobody saw her except me.

I think she is sorrowful about something….or thoughtful!

Three Good things:
1. The lawns got done by our wonderful crew - paid!
2. Learnt a lot - mostly from 365 and google!
3. Managed to get an eye appointment this week - I have bottom eyelashes which grow inwards instead of outwards. They have to be pulled out - now thats good - stops the aggravation instantly!
Great find

@psychographer I have to admit to a little addition with a pen, Lisa!

She's despairing about a bad colour at the hairdressers perhaps! Spotty hair is not quite the fashion perhaps! Great fun Maggie!

@happypat .......or else, she has forgotten what she went to the supermarket for, Pat!

I thought she was channelling Cleopatra with that headwear!

@yorkshirekiwi It actually does look more like a helmet, Carole!

@helenhall Perhaps she is thinking about what her husband said to her that was not kind?
May 1st, 2017
Neat, certainly caught my attention

What a wonderful catch.

Good eye. Very random find. Congratulations on your new lawn.

Very cute mushroom!
May 2nd, 2017
You fixed her up to make a hair statement, but she's not so sure.
May 2nd, 2017
@mbrutus The lawn looks wonderful when its mown! Like a green carpet!
May 2nd, 2017
@bruni She probably thought it was wonderful but somebody laughed and told her she looked like a mushroom!
May 2nd, 2017
Definitely a unique subject but a terrific photo of her!
May 2nd, 2017
@grammyn Do you think she might smile, if I told her that, Katy?
May 2nd, 2017
@maggiemae only you would know Maggiemae
May 2nd, 2017
So well spotted! And composed well.

Great find and capture...#3 Ouch.
May 2nd, 2017
What a wonderful find, she does have a frown there....maybe she wants to live somewhere else, in the sunshine maybe !?
May 2nd, 2017
@happysnaps Don't think she wants to be on anybody's plate, though, Valerie!
May 2nd, 2017
Great find
May 2nd, 2017
Cool find and so clever to give her a face. Maybe she'll start a new trend in spotty hair.
May 2nd, 2017
@salza I don't think I've seen spotty hair before but its probably not called 'spotty'! More like jewelled hair?
May 2nd, 2017
Ha ha, very creative. Love it.
May 2nd, 2017
A cute find
May 2nd, 2017
That's a cute and interesting find! I believe that she must be quite deep in thought.
May 2nd, 2017
What an amazing discovery.
May 2nd, 2017
great find, she does look sad
May 2nd, 2017
She looks downright angry to me!! What a great find lovely shot!
May 2nd, 2017
Oh no, what has she lost? Super find Maggiemae.
May 2nd, 2017
She looks deep in thought. I have eyelashes that fall out easily and get into my eyes and hurt, Lots of eye drops in my life and a good magnifying mirror. I cannot imagine how it is to wait to get them pulled out, Ouch!
May 3rd, 2017
@darsphotos does't hurt at all and then, all at once my eye feels good instead of gritty, dry and weepy!
May 3rd, 2017
@flowerfairyann If she's like me - she's forgotten what she lost!
May 3rd, 2017
@maggiemae I do feel for you as I have very dry eyes and my lashes come out all of the time and stick me in my eyes. I have to get them out but then I am ok. What a huge relief to get that done so you are not miserable.
May 3rd, 2017
@maggiemae How nice is that! We lost most of ours last year. Stopped watering it during the drought. Tried to be good citizens. Planted some drought resistant garden over some of it. ANd replanted some from seed elsewhere. Still not as lush as sod would be. Enjoy your lovely lawn.

Very clever - I love what you have done here!
May 5th, 2017
Well spotted. Did you process in the face? Maybe she's looking for her glasses? I think I see them on the ground at her right (my left).
May 8th, 2017
@skstein I think she is looking for her glasses - her eyes have that non- focusing slit look - like mine at times!
