The extreme scene on this desert floor was enhanced by light and intersected by huge dust wind clouds across the flats!
The film crew were getting a good handle on Lee’s riding over this amazing territory! This is the Indian Motorcycle that has established itself - and its Rider for a potential history making scene!
Three good things:
1. We missed Lee’s official, second run as it was rushed through - he was clocked at 161.5mph but he said his motorbike got up to 179mph. A good result!
2. I sat inside the truck with air conditioning on and only went out for a possible photo. One was another pic of the film crew interviewing John and Lee.
3. Sand in my hair washed out with a good shower!
Ooh Maggie , you must have the time of your life -- so much exciting events and speed . A soper edit on this image -- glad you have an air conditioned truck yo cool down and be out of the blowing sand ! fav
Fantastic image - just perfect. Love the high-key look and great detail in the motorbike plus the photographers. Fav. I hope you try some trick photography with perspective while you are there Maggie!
It is an exciting time for everyone- and really something to be a part of history making. I think this shot has that feel to it. I love the high-key treatment. It really emphasizes the extreme desert conditions.
Exciting adventure your on!
