This Wigwam accommodation site is quite amazing! It has car wrecks positioned around which were brought down from the Route 66 after they were long abandoned. You can just see one on the side of this photo of our own Wigwam!
Three Good Things”
1. Uber again - this time to a nearby shopping centre. Bought a case for my iPhone and a frozen pineapple yoghurt!
2. Had 3 swims again interspersed with reading my kindle in the afternoon sun! A real holiday when you can do this!
3. Lots of salads you can buy - all crisp lettuce. Why are there so many huge people here!
You should have set the timer maggie, run in & got on your hands & knees & poked your head out! Sounds like you have had time to catch your breath at last! Fab accommodation!
I love these teepee suites! Such a fun place. I've heard both good and bad things about Uber so I'm glad you're having a good experience with it. As far as #3 goes- it's all about the processing. So much of it packs on the pounds which you're not even aware of at first!
@olivetreeann We take off all the crumb and batter around chicken, Ann and only eat salads. Probably taking off pounds too - no sausage rolls and date scones here!
What quaint accommodations. It sounds like a most fascinating place to stay.
#3too much food and not enough exercise. Everyone drives here instead of walking or taking a bike
That's so cool. I wouldn't feel very safe sleeping in it though and not being able to lock the door, but maybe things are safer in your neck of the woods.
Route 66 is an interesting ride. My husband stayed in one of those wigwams a couple years ago when he rode the route with his motorcycle buddies. Have fun!
What a great photo. Sounds like you are eating well and smart too. So how has Uber been? I have had good and bad drivers and now started using Lyft as Uber stopped being as user friendly. Very happy but not sure they are where you are, both types of service that is.
