Baby Dragon? by maggiemae

Baby Dragon?

This is just one of the plant sculptures in the newly opened -- Developed by Mosaïcultures Internationales of Montreal, the exhibition features up to 40 huge sculptures made of plants mounted on supporting frames, arrayed around a winding one-kilometre path through the park.

The theme of the sculptures is 150 years of Canadian history, values, culture and art. It takes about 90 minutes to see everything.
Quite amazing!
Three good things:
1. a coffee in a small kiosk here in this park overlooking the river.
2. Everything, including a railway station and a train was covered in plants!
3. It was free to enter!

It is a great shot, and the green baby dragon stands out even against the green foliage backdrop. Must have been quite a magnificent display.

How much planning had to have gone into this project especially to get all the different textures that you have shown so perfectly well in this photo. Most amazing of for it to be free. what a spectacular place and you have done a spectacular job of photographing this particular sculpture
