Next event was a ‘Wings and Wheels’ one - high up on a plateau above Alexandra where the thyme grows freely and the scent prevails!
There were some really good pilots who could make their plane ‘dance’ in the wide sky!
Pleased with my camera getting focus and getting several photos in a few seconds. My older one took at least 2 secs to adjust!
Using up my travel megabytes so can't spend too much time on the computer!
Three good things;
!. We brought our motorhome up here and enjoyed coffee and cheese rolls while watching planes take off and land.
2. One jet plane proved too fast for my camera but on the whole, I was very pleased with the focus - small plane here doing acrobatics!
3. Lots of people here to support this first event in this area. Apparently 30 planes couldn’t make it due to weather or something! But it was successful!
