If you belong to the NZ Caravan etc Club you can access the many private camping spots all round NZ! This one is on the shores of Lake Dunstan near Cromwell. The camp is central down there with a locked gate and we are INSIDE! The camp has a "Pack in Pack out" policy - easy to work that one out!
Three good things:
1. Coffee and many photographs to share with my 91 year old SIL. We visit as often as we can.
2. The sun shone and the daffodils were blooming here. The Club has done a great job with planting and keeping the rabbits from eating them!
3. I said to John, what better life could we have than this one!
Members of our family are finding this out at the moment. A neice married over there last weekend and several of her Aussie relatives chose to combine touring with the wedding
I do think you are both fortunate that you both like traveling so much. It wouldn't work in our house as Harry loves to be at home & is not keen on holidays much. He does go as you know but always ready for home again. I like to see different places too but do also like Coming home again. This is a lovely spot to park up. Such great scenery!
