Belgrade

This could look good on the Black.....

A heavy day with the night spent flying across the world from Singapore to Belgrade via Frankfurt. The night would have been restful had not a small child screamed or screeched on and off all night!
Three good things:
1. It wasn’t my child.
2. We had 13 hours to sleep but arrived at 6am which was in fact 1pm Singapore time. We are confused as to whether we are tired or not!
3. This was right outside our hotel door and was one of many carts selling various. This one had honey and lots of brandies!
It looks quite festive. A screaming child is enough to test anyone's patience.

@salza Its very festive with lots of sparkle and coloured lights! That child was extremely spoilt!

you could have solved your No. 1 with the brandy?

@adayinmallacoota This was after we had arrived in Belgrade, Belinda! Might try a bottle of brandy today though!

Nice shot. You probably needed a brandy after listening to a screaming child all night.

Fabulous shot. You needed noise canceling headphones for that flight! Enjoy your trip and have some brandy😀

@bizziebeeme I read about those recently and thought - no, don't need them! Would have been good.

What a delightful and festive looking cart of goodies ! -- very tempting I am sure , especially after a night of a screaming kid . -- I think I would have tried to plug my ears with something -- or better still !! no I will not go there !!!!!!

@beryl We would all have these ideas on how to fix the situation Beryl but some are not politically correct!

@maggiemae They are really really good I have borrowed hubby's sometimes as I get very aggy when it comes to screaming kids - cant stand it! He has noise cancelling as he travels a lot for work and I decided not to bother but my ...I wish i had sometimes - just lucky that hubby doesn't mind swapping occasionally.

Nice capture of the cart laden with many goodies...#1I would have been very annoyed at the parents of the screaming child.
December 30th, 2017
@seattlite Thats so right, Gloria - its the parents that cause the problem!

@busylady There are a lot of condiments and sauces based on red pepper as well as products from honey, Judith!

Looks very tempting!

Take some brandy and then a nap; I try to remember to take my ear plugs whenever I fly.

A flight with a screaming child is most testing. I hope you have made a full recovery. Perhaps a shot of the brandy would warm your spirits/ The photographic shot, at least, looks great.

Great capture of the scene. Shame about the screaming child. That can make for a very long flight

Screaming children distress everyone. Small children on aircraft are on a hiding to nothing. Their eardrums are not sufficiently developed to withstand the change/s in air pressure. Understandably this makes them at best uncomfortable and at worst makes other passengers resentful. I imagine/hope their are measures parents can take to minimise the discomfort of all?

What a huge change in time. It would take some adjusting. Wonderful capture and looks great with the black background. FAV
