A heavy day with the night spent flying across the world from Singapore to Belgrade via Frankfurt. The night would have been restful had not a small child screamed or screeched on and off all night!
Three good things:
1. It wasn’t my child.
2. We had 13 hours to sleep but arrived at 6am which was in fact 1pm Singapore time. We are confused as to whether we are tired or not!
3. This was right outside our hotel door and was one of many carts selling various. This one had honey and lots of brandies!
What a delightful and festive looking cart of goodies ! -- very tempting I am sure , especially after a night of a screaming kid . -- I think I would have tried to plug my ears with something -- or better still !! no I will not go there !!!!!!
@maggiemae They are really really good I have borrowed hubby's sometimes as I get very aggy when it comes to screaming kids - cant stand it! He has noise cancelling as he travels a lot for work and I decided not to bother but my ...I wish i had sometimes - just lucky that hubby doesn't mind swapping occasionally.
A flight with a screaming child is most testing. I hope you have made a full recovery. Perhaps a shot of the brandy would warm your spirits/ The photographic shot, at least, looks great.
Screaming children distress everyone. Small children on aircraft are on a hiding to nothing. Their eardrums are not sufficiently developed to withstand the change/s in air pressure. Understandably this makes them at best uncomfortable and at worst makes other passengers resentful. I imagine/hope their are measures parents can take to minimise the discomfort of all?
