The Challenge is finished and we set off for home taking time to get our car serviced in Dunedin as we went through. With another vehicle we had 3 hours to fill in and went out to the beautiful beach of St Clair. I’ve photographed this before but every time we visit, its a new scene! Hey, super on black I've just found!
Three Good Things:
1. I’m so pleased to be at home - somehow so relaxing!
2. Wonderful NZ scenes as we travel home - green fields, wooded hills.
3. No wind in the evening - doors open!
How very lovely, what a gorgeous place for a sunny day. When I saw "St Clair" it took me straight back to the Enid Blyton books of my youth, "The Twins at St Clair's" boarding school stories full of lacrosse and adventures!
@casablanca I was a super fan of Enid Blyton but I missed those titles. What about 'The Adventurous Four', The Fourth Form at???, Cherry Tree Farm, etc. I've still got the originals in my bookcase!
@maggiemae Oh yes yes yes, you are taking me down memory lane here! I also loved The Magic Faraway Tree and The Wishing Chair and that whole series.....
@casablanca Loved the "Faraway Tree"! The Secret Seven, The Naughtiest Girl in the School"! I think there were lots I missed though! I had to save up 7 shillings and 6d to buy one book!
