A night by the River by maggiemae

A night by the River

Resuming our travels we enjoyed the scenery up the east coast of the North Island - lots of forests and hills and tiny villages
Three Good Things
1. Glad we stopped here - it was beautiful and the locals were out in outrigger canoes. Its a very Maori place.
2. John sold four books to various campers.
3. Finding it difficult to think of the third without mentioning pain. Um.....I'm still alive!
What a lovely and peaceful setting ! Love the sunlit white cloud and the reflection on the water ! Hope the pain will ease for you !

This is so beautiful. I’m so sorry you are still dealing with pain. Did the dr give you an idea of how long it would take for your ribs to heal?

@louannwarren Its not the ribs, Lou Ann... its jaw pain that is just excruciating.

Looks and sound beautiful! So relaxing except for your pain! Did you hit your face when you fell? Have you had an X-ray to check it out? It’s difficult to enjoy things when in such a lot of pain! Big hug xx

My Doctor used to say "if you're over 50 and you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you've died!" On that basis, there are many mornings I am very sure I am alive! Sorry for your pains, I know it takes a while but it will ease soon, hold on to hope. Hoping the new meds work better for you.

@casablanca Wise words! From your doctor and from you, thank you, Ms C!

@onewing its one of those things they don't know and there is no cure - just treat the symptoms, Babs! Deep breaths for me and take it on the head!
