The Duck

One of the many Rotorua Lakes was Lake Tarawera where we are staying with friends. These vehicles take tourists around the area and dive into the occasional lake!
Three Good Things:
1. Great weather
2. A good single malt whisky.
3. Our friends used to be neighbours who recently shifted way up North. But still the greatest of friends.

I love these Duck boats! I always feel slightly James Bond getting on a vehicle on wheels that drives into the sea! I remember going on one in Jersey out to Elizabeth Castle. This brought back smiley memories. I'll join you with that single malt whisky too :) Hope you are feeling a wee bit better.

I have never ridden in one of these but I have seen a sedan version ages ago on the St. Lawrence Seaway in the Thousand Island area. It's a really strange feeling to see headlights on a river!
