Cloud Torment by maggiemae

Cloud Torment

Our journey carried us further south and turned into a Caravan park as we had no water and needed power. Unfortunately their wifi was totally unreliable (not acceptable for 365), so we went on to Greymouth to a Top 10 Park. Not too expensive but these Parks are to be admired with facilities for everyone!
The approaching thunderstorm may have affected our TV which went on and off so we turned on the music and enjoyed!
This photo was taken from a ‘photo’ point along the way. There were road signs for photo opportunities so that people didn’t stop along the narrow roads.
Three Good Things:
1. Increasing the contrast brought out the cloud shapes which became more interesting than the incredible coastline!
2. Our music comes from an iPod into the car stereo so we have hundreds of favourite songs, music to listen to.
3. A large T-bone steak shared.
I think the weather is going into a more unsettled time, perhaps you are going to be heading back home shortly ready to dampen down the hatches for winter? Always next year to plan! I like a T-bone myself! Interesting sky there, but still beautiful.

@happypat Yes, the weather is full of downpours and we are waiting to cross the Alps which may have snow in the next few days! Could be home in a week - or 2!

Those clouds do look tormented. I hope the weather improves for your trip across the Alps. Maybe you can build a snowman to photograph??

@kiwinanna I don't mind snow as long as its not on the road, Liana!

@grammyn It makes some parts go dark but its a different look which I like!

Fabulous processing, it really is a tormented picture! You seem to be having a great trip, if a little wet at times. We stayed in Top 10 in Australia and they were always good value.
