My previous photo made wonderful comments from you all. It was actually 100years ago as pointed out by @gijsje ! I hadn’t thought about that!
To go from this to just a simple shot takes a bit of thought! This is a silk rose on my piano and the sunlight caught the colour!
Good on the Black
Three Good Things:
1. John collected all the broken glass of the last 30 years on this property (only ours for 8) and was able to dump it in our Recycle Plant! It ws so heavy!
2. I do like what @sarah19 said on @happypat ’s post today…”Isn't that one of the loveliest things about 365....we can enjoy and admire and share and be inspired and make positive comments and people are encouraged and feel they belong. Definitely a better way to be”.
3. A very good sleep - in spite of the most weird dreams!
Yes I liked the words too Maggie! @sarah19 Was the person who first introduced me to 365 & im so grateful for that. We met many years ago when her family came for B&b & the children were all small. Now they are all grown up & we are still in touch. Sallie is such a lovely person, just as she is in person as she comes across on 365. Lovely rose & I missed yesterday's so will go back & check!
@happypat the feeling is mutual Pat. We so loved our B&B experiences with you and it's such fun to still be in touch, especially with us both having family down under 💛💛
What a simple and elegant photo with that gorgeous green to black. Also like those words you copied, and I echo them, people here feel like friends and I've only met three of them (related to two!)
Gee whizz, I didn't register it was that old, but I thought about it, of course it was. Great shot whatever. Love the light you've got here, so good against that dark green background.
I love your #2.
