A couple of days ago we saw a plume of black smoke over the hill opposite but never followed it through!
A house went on fire while single mother and 2 young girls went shopping. 17 Year old youth was asleep. A mystery lady knocked on a neighbours door and asked if they had a hose and consequently hosed this young guy who was not seriously burnt but is now in hospital.
Three Good Things; 1. They haven’t found this mystery lady but it won’t be long…
2. This family had standards and mother told her young girls to bring inside, their new Xmas Gift scooters. Totally burnt but local support raised $700!
3. Best weather ever today - 25degC and not much wind!
Oh no, what a disaster. Brought back memories of when we lived in Melbourne. A neighbour of ours left the Christmas lights switched on on the tree so Santa would be able to see where he was going and they got too hot, set fire to the tree and the whole house burnt to the ground. I was so surprised how quickly a house can be reduced to rubble.
