This little weather vane was aptly stationed above the restaurant where we had dinner with friends celebrating their golden wedding! The restaurant was called Fisherman's Wharf and it specialised in the most delicious fish dishes!
Three Good things:
1. No chips with my Fish Sizzler dish - had too many lately.
2. Able to free camp along the road in a parking spot. Unfortunately on the road that leads to the port of Lyttelton- a busy one - 24 hour one!
3. We did sleep while the trucks continued to roar past all night!
Love the pop of that little boat in the sky. Nr. 2 is definitely not what you can do in our country, you'd be robbed or murdered before you know it :-(
@ludwigsdiana Oh, crikey! I don't think it is likely here though there have been some awful events but mainly because they haven't locked their vans. We lock ours always! .....and I have a very good punching fist!
