A sunny corner

A rather heavy emotional day with firstly a visit to our family who have a dear little daughter with a rare recessive gene disorder. Its degenerative and she with the golden curls and blue eyes is not expected to live past 5 years old.
Then lunch at 'The Old Vicarage' where another friend brought his son also with a permanent disorder. He is now in his early twenties and never stops moving. Hard to understand but I pretend and hope its the right answer.
Three Good Things:
1. Lily the grandson's wife is expecting another little girl and has found it is perfectly normal.
2. Lunch at this place seemed to give me indigestion - they smothered the hamburger in tomato sauce. So much so I couldn't eat another thing for the rest of the day. Thats good!
3. Trains don't seem to run at night by our camping ground!
Hard to find words, life is not fair at times. Lovely windows

Such a poignant photo ...So sad to see children ill, but so nice that you were able to spend time with your family and friend.

It sounds like your campground is at least quiet this time; hopefully you are catching up on your sleep!

What a sad and emotional day you have had. Always sad to see children so ill.

Lunch may have given you indigestion but it has provided you with a lovely photo.

@onewing she doesn’t look ill, Babs, her small development to the age of two is going backwards. Can’t feed herself, crawl or hold her head up. Needs 24/7 care!

I know your grandson was so glad to see you. I’m sorry his sweet girl is so sick, but I’m glad to read he and his family are loving her as much as they can. Your lunch sounds dreadful.

@maggiemae I have the most beautiful book called ‘Super Power Baby Project’ by Rachel Callander. It is such a positive book about children like your wee relation. Full of beautiful NZ children and tells what their super powers are. I think Rachel is from Geraldine.

Beautiful light and colors in this photo of yours. I like the way the colored light shines on the interior of the room.

Heartbreaking about your dear little girl.

@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian - I do like to hear what my 365 friends say - they really are so experienced in so many areas!

@ludwigsdiana The food was actually delicious, Diana - I think it was the tomato sauce that was the problem. I chose the kiddies menu and obviously they think tomato sauce is what the children want!
