Swan songs. by maggiemae

Swan songs.

Catching up on lost days. On this coastal inlet I suddenly caught sight of a family of swans. Now there is a two headed swan here and also a swanlet who has been told by Father, to behave!
Three Good Things:
1. I do know what a young swan is called!
2. A smile goes a long way - a group of locals glared at us as we passed.... we smiled and waved and they were transformed into smiles!
3. A long gravel road for 20km took us back to the main highway! No traffic except for one tractor!
Love your banter !! and you have me smiling this morning - so contagious ! A lovely scene of these Swans and swanlets :) on the blue blue water !!

Lovely image and a good road to explore. Nice that you can go off the beaten track.

@dide I have to make sure that the MM (mere male) doesn't want to go four wheel driving in our motorhome!

Such a sharp clean but cold looking photo. Cold as in temperature I mean. Sounds like you know how to handle any bad vibes!

@ninaganci Thanks for your comments on my photos, Nina! These swans were at a place where we camped the night, on an inlet at a river mouth miles from home. They weren't there the night before!
