Having run out of rhubarb, we change to porridge in the mornings. I always leave a bit for the birds. The morning sun was good for the shot but I did want to wait for the little birds to arrive. Because it was so sunny and warm we had coffee outside which frightened them off.
Thankful for:
Lunch was far better than our evening meal. I tried my hand at pizza dough but the yeast was over 8 years over its use by date! Of course the dough didn't rise, I kept going to put it all together and now I have serious indigestion!
A lovely shot full of sunshine - May you enjoy a peaceful Easter weekend . I make homemade pizzas with a scone base - slightly different but we enjoy them !
hahaha oh dear Maggiemae - when I find lost things in my cupboard the longest they've been out of date is 3 years and I wondered how they hid in there that long :)
I wonder if they would like oatmeal? I may try that! This is a sweet image. We have searched high and low for yeast and flour. Both are gone from all the stores and online too!
Sorry have to laugh at the indigestion though I honestly sympathise massively I would have been just the same! Love the beautiful bird feeder....quite an afternoon tea look about it....no flour here either, nor syrup! Quite a few of the stuff in my cupboards are out of date too no doubt!
@happypat We seem to have plenty of everything here but probably far less people to supply! I don't think I'll buy some fresh yeast - or maybe I will just for something to do!
Lovely photo of the birds. Your morning coffee outside sounds divine
