Daffs to welcome... by maggiemae

Daffs to welcome...

It's been a while - 4 weeks since I posted due to my most annoying injury. I cant use my left hand or arm. So much you need help for and my sweet hubby is now learning to cook, do dishes and washing, help me dress and shower etc etc. I still have a lot of pain and morphine helps.
These are the gate daffodils but there are heaps more round the garden to cheer us up!
Such a cheerful shot...Gosh, I sure pray that your arm, hand heal and the pain subsides. Take care.

What a beautiful spring time shot Maggiemae! I love the composition. I am so sorry you are still in so much pain but good to know you are getting better and that John is so helpful. I might have to figure out exactly what happened to you so I can hurt myself and get some of that same kind of help lol!

A lovely capture. I hope you’ll feel much better soon.

Beautifully colorful (colourful). I'm interested in how the mailbox is mounted … and the "sleeve" on the side of the mailbox. Is that for newspapers/magazines?
September 5th, 2023
Lovely spring capture. I'm so sorry to hear about your health problems.
September 5th, 2023
@grammyn Actually, I fell over in the bathroom late at night and broke the top half of my arm into three bits! Osteoporosis meant it was easier to break in a fall. DONT even consider it, Katy! The most painful injury! But I know your comment is a "ha ha"!
September 5th, 2023
@rhoing Never thought of that, Thom, but can now see from the photo how its fastened and, yes, for newspapers.

Glad you are making progress, be it slow. Are you in plaster, or did you have to have it pinned?
Lovely spring image.

Good to see you are managing to post again! What bad injury it sounds, the pain must be the worse thing. It must have been a very bad fall. I haven’t noticed you not posting much as I haven’t either but hopefully we are back in the mild once mire!
Good for John he’s a trouper!

@carole_sandford no pins, no plaster - that's what makes it so painful - swing free and try to wait till it heals!
September 5th, 2023
@happypat Don't know about every day - its as much as I can cope with just getting through the days, Pat!
September 5th, 2023
@maggiemae you are so right! it really would be a desperate way to get some help around here! I am so sorry you have to go through it!
September 6th, 2023
Thank goodness John is so organised and helpful. Lovely daffies. Take care.
September 6th, 2023
So sorry you’re in so much pain. How long does it take to heal? Maybe 6-8 weeks? So glad you have John to help you with everything. Sending hugs your way.

@darsphotos Thanks, Darlene! initially they said 6 - 12 weeks but now it seems 3 - 6 months! however the pain is diminishing after 5 weeks so it is a lot easier!

Hi Maggiemae, just want to check how you are doing. I hope the pain is not so bad and that you are well on the road to recovery. Sending positive healing thoughts, love and blessings 🤞🏼🤗

@ludwigsdiana thanks, Diana for thinking about me! Pain still aggravating but able to do so much more. But not hold a camera yet!
