I've just taken 30 years off my face! Everyone should try it.
1. Take a front face photo in B&W
2. Increase the contrast until the wrinkles and blotches disappear.
3. Increase the saturation to provide a bit more definition!
Go contrast!
Of course in portraiture, the ultimate is getting good skin colour and with the right lighting. Yet to do this!
cool! did you know that in ribbet.com, there's a function called "plastic surgery"? now i'll probably process an old selfie and see what that would do. you are so into this processing thing these days, aren't you? good to learn other kinds of processing. i like this.
@summerfield with portraiture, I'm trying to work out what is most flattering when taking other peoples photos! They do it all the time on TV and film of course. There are some wonderful ideas in the processing apps too. Never seen the plastic surgery one but picmonkey has some good ways of removing things too - like warts on one's nose!
Have to laugh at this one & love all the chat about different procedures..... i once tried something similar on the pre PickMokey edit....smudging out wrinkles particularly on the neck I was thrilled with the result I must say!!
Great selfie! I hate taking photos of myself. Usually I only do it under the influence of some sort of alcohol! You should swap your profile pics out. This is nice. I like the lighting and tones. You processed it well.
It's like a miracle!! Who needs plastic surgery? LOL!! Taking flattering portraits is all about the light. I once had my portrait done and he used a soft box for the light - it was amazing how the lines disapeared!!
