While excitedly waiting for the prospetive aurora to arrive, I snapped the sunset. The light was far to bright to see any aurora. In the end I went to bed as nothing was happening. It seemed to be only in the Northern Hemisphere.
sadly, i think it's only visible as far south of canada. would have been visible in toronto but they say the sky has to be clear and with the ambient city lights, visibility may be hampered.
too quick on the post comment button. i meant to write that at least you got a beautiful sunset pic. i saw the sunset this afternoon and couldn't get a decent photo through the glass walls of the office!
