There are very few high spots available to the public because so many have built homes on the higher locations in Phoenix. I was able to get high enough to get the Scottsdale (north) side of the mountain. It’s a very iconic mountain in Phoenix and basically sits in the middle of “The Valley of the Sun.”
We grew up in Phoenix - we moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1979.
