My husband took me to dinner at this Phoenix Landmark. Durant's is one of Phoenix's most historic family-owned restaurants, having just celebrated its 70th anniversary. James E. “Jack” Durant opened the landmark steakhouse in 1950. Durant was a pit boss at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in the 40s and that Las Vegas vibe definitely influenced the decor.
