I got sent these in the post, from Thomann.de - a German musical wholesaler... I've dealt with Thomann quite a few times before, in the past, when I've needed certain parts, and they've always been fine... So, I was very surprised to discover these oboe reeds in my latest package from them!
Y'see - I don't play the oboe! What I'd ordered, were two sets of gold-plated Grover snare wires... (Which look like this, for anyone who doesn't know what they are - http://tinyurl.com/2v4scrg)
So, I'm having to phone Thomann in Germany and try and get this sorted out... It's annoying because, I still don't have my snare wires, and I'm spending a load of money on foreign calls... But, on the positive side, I find the accents of the girls who answer the phones at Thomann really attractive! haha
