@wiesnerbeth There will eventually be an exhibit, but this is just the beginning. I've been randomly assigned to a group of 5 quilters. (There are 4 groups.) Each month, we are making 12" quilts based on a photo. The first month, it's an actual "inspiration" photo. every month after that, you get a photo of a quilt that someone made (without explanation of what it is). It's kind of hard to describe but sort of like the old telephone game. By the end, it has transformed into something else. Since this is the only one I'll make based on an original photo, I thought I'd stick as close to realistic as possible.
