I have had a few birthday parties for my kids without a decent photo. I think the only really good year I have was when a friend told me to put down my camera and enjoy the party with my kids and she would document our memories. I have proof that I was actually at that birthday party because I'm in the photos :)
@tctime: such a great point! My friend Angelica actually took this photo ... she was in charge of my camera at the party (I cropped myself out of this picture because I was blurry and looking away). I have tried to be better about letting others take pictures of me!
