This little bird has a nest right outside my front door. He startles me regularly as I come and go ... WELL ... he flew in instead of away today. It took me almost 90 minutes to get him out ... I would say poor little guy, but I nerves were shot from him buzzing around me frantically all morning!
Oh goosh! We have birds that hover near our patio and also the front door. We've had that happen, and it is tough getting them out -- especially in daylight. Our dogs got nuts when one flies in. so the "getting out" process becomes even more difficult.
@aglennc: It's happened before, but such a pain to get them out. My Joey (pup) was at a puppy sleep over with his little girlfriend so I did not have him around to "help" me ... thank goodness.
