He actually came up with the idea to send a Thank you card to an adult friend who helped him with his cursive writing all on his own ... parenting WIN!
@aglennc: I know right?!? I was telling a good friend of mine how my Ryan was struggling with cursive. (In 4th grade at our school all assignments must be done in cursive). She told me as a leftie it was hard for her as well but she would be happy to work with him. It was a kind offer and we took her up on it. She taught him some cool tricks and he is really enjoying writing again! I was pleased that he opted to write a thank you note all on his own ... in cursive of course!!
