@mariaostrowski It was interesting. We opened the door, walked in, and the dogs just stood there as if they didn't know who we were. It took a few seconds before they realized, ,"Oh, it's you! You're home!!" They they went wild.
@aglennc: that is just so sweet, my Joey has had that reaction when we leave for long periods of time as well. Your trip sounds like it was absolutely incredible!!!
