If you look closely you can see that my Dad is trying to open his eyes to carry on a conversation, but he found it much easier to talk with them closed. I was actually kind of expecting to see more equipment in the ICU, based on his last surgery, but since this one wasn't as intense, I guess they didn't need as much "stuff!"
