We have had fireworks at the family farm for more years than I can remember. We started out with everyone bringing an assortment of “regular” fireworks and graduated to everyone bringing assorted fireworks, most of which came from the nearby reservations. Then we started letting Peter buy all the fireworks (with everyone donating money) and he built accessories to make the show go more smoothly. Now he is a certified pyrotechnician, buys all the fireworks legally and has developed his skills to provide us with fantastic displays with barely any pauses in the 15-20 minute remotely run production. Here is a link to about 4 and 1/2 minutes of last night’s show. https://youtu.be/sa0PwQl3914
@byrdlip It really is a great show. And our little mini-doxie sat perfectly content, swaddled in my lap throughout. She hates the noise of them unless she is swaddled and in a lap, then she doesn’t even bat an eyelash... just relaxes and snoozes.
I love this photo. Because it shows part of the farm and the fireworks! I’m so impressed with Peter and all his new master skills. It’s so hard to believe the show lasted longer than the four minutes of your video and by the way thank you for linking that Brought back some great memories not the least of which was that I needed a coat to watch them when I was there!
@grammyn I knew you would like this... it made me think of that day/night, too. Peter took some classes and a test and then had to work with a certified pyrotechnician on two fireworks shows to be certified. His setup is pretty impressive.
