Marvin & JP as "The Runaway" by marilyn

Marvin & JP as "The Runaway"

Today was our staff in-service day... meetings, insurance info, blood-borne pathogens training, suicide awareness training, anti-bullying and harassment training, etc. so I am wiped and totally unmotivated to come up with a photo idea. I was, however, inspired by grammyn to attempt a Norman Rockwell challenge. Browsing some Rockwell paintings, I saw "The Runaway" and it reminded me of this picture that I snapped 3 years ago of Marvin and our great-nephew tossing rocks over a hillside into a canyon. I tried several editing options before settling on this... it's definitely not a replica, but I think the "flavor" of it is there.

Great job on popping the color here. I love the feel to this photo. What a fabulous father and son bonding.

@altadc Thanks. for the kind words about the photo... It is actually great-uncle/great-nephew bonding going on, and has always been one of my favorite pics.
