For the second year, our 4th and 5th grade students have written letters to local Veterans who have taken part in the Inland Northwest Honor Flight program ( http://www.inwhonorflight.org/) and this year they made a bulletin board to display the letters they received back. I am so moved by this program and the way our kids have become involved, that I just had to take a picture of the board and some close-ups of the letters.

@grammyn@heidievans73 Thank you so much, ladies! We were fortunate to have a school neighbor take this trip last year and then report back to the kids. That personal touch helps make it so much more special for the kids.
@debsphotos@wannabe I feel that we can never honor our Veterans enough! I really liked the teacher's bulletin board idea... and the kids are so proud to see their letters up there.
