Light Scoop by marilyn

Light Scoop

My new Light Scoop flash bounce. It just slips on the flash shoe and voilá... no more flash hot spots or burnouts or red-eye! I ❤ it!
Gosh, you got all sorts of fun stuff didn't you? You're a lucky lady!

looks good, let us know if you find any short comings

That is interesting. I have never seen one of those. So, your flash sits behind it to diffuse the brightness of the flash?

Great idea

Great collage! :) So, the light bounces off the ceiling before it hits its' subject? Very cool. I had heard something about that gadget I think..

ohhhh, I want one of those! ANd I'll take the light scoop flash bounce too! Some day I will get a better camera with different lenses, more settings, etc. right now it's my basic pns. Love your college - the image is nice clear,

@mstipe Yes, I do... and yes, I am! I tend to "want it all" and my family tries to indulge me as much as possible! :)

@hjbenson So far the only thing I have noticed is that if the room I am in is not very well lit, the photo sometimes comes out a little dark, but it is a super easy fix in iPhoto... or most likely any other editing software. And/or if I were shooting in manual I could adjust for it.

@darsphotos Yes... the camera has a pop-up flash and this reflects the light up instead of directly at the subject... similar to the umbrella-type diffusers/reflectors the pros use, but more compact... and most likely not as good, but so far I like it.

@peterdegraaff I figured I'd give it a try...not terribly expensive and so far for the few shots I've used it on I've been pretty pleased.

@grammyn Thanks... then I guess we are even! :)

@debsphotos Yup... I do love gadgets!

@buttercup Thanks!

@elizabeth264 Thanks... yes it reflects the light up instead of directly at the subject... similar to the umbrella-type diffusers/reflectors the pros use, but more compact... and most likely not as good, but so far I like it.

@sdpace My camera has a pop-up flash so the flash hits the mirror reflects the light up instead of directly at the subject... similar to the umbrella-type reflectors the pros use, but more compact... and most likely not as good, but so far I like it.

@geertje So far so good! :)

@myhrhelper LOL! The camera is actually my husband's so you will have to talk to him about that! :) And you do a great job with your pns! Thanks for the kind comment...
