We went to a family baby shower today and it is the first time I have ever seen the Dad take on the duty of recording the list of gifts! The Daddy-to-be is our great-nephew so this little girl on the way will be our great-great-niece. Yikes!
@grammyn Oh, no... I am not that old... this is just a family with a history of very young mothers/grandmothers! They may have each been about 10 when they had their kids and surely you can see that April is only about 10, too! :)
@grammyn Well we are def old enough, but it's only because Marvin is at the tail end of a large family so his older sibs have kids who are having grandkids! It's like Nicki's kids having kids... which will happen sooner than we would like to think! :) (Just used her because I think she has the oldest kids.)
I love the idea of a baby shower, we don't tend to do that kind of thing here, we wait until the baby is born then visit with gifts. A lovely pic for the album :-)
