Seuss

Oh, if only this day had fallen on a school day and I could have gone to the library and spread out all the wonderful Dr. Seuss books for a giant Dr. Seuss collage... As it is, I had to rely on my own bookshelf and fortunately I have not yet given away all my children's books!
I love the vintage look of the book! Don't tell your children I used the word vintage in reference to their childhood library! ;~}

@cdonohoue Thanks, Cathy... and what childhood library would be complete without at least one Seuss? We actually had many, but some of them were loaned out to friends and some donated to the school and some... well, who knows where they are now?!

I like your choice of Seuss to mark his birthday. No reason you can't do a Seuss collage at any time!

@hankinsphoto Thanks, Steve... I might have to think about that Seuss collage. I would probably not have done this shot but I am working on the "Mull Over March" challenge and today's word was Seuss.

@byrdlip Apparently our copy of Green Eggs and Ham is residing in someone else's home theses days, because we used to have it... Actually that triggers a memory... I put some of the kids' old books away in a large plastic tub which is now on the bottom of a stack of tubs... it may be there! :)
