Water by marilyn

Water

Frozen water counts, doesn't it? I threw in a water pump to help! For the past few days we have had lots of gropple (graupel), which is like tiny fluffy hail stones... they look like hail, but have the weight of snowflakes. They are also called soft hail or snow pellets and are formed when supercooled droplets of water are collected and freeze on a falling snowflake.

I didn't get this uploaded last night because right after I made dinner I hit the recliner for a 4-hour nap and then got up and went to bed! :)
I hate you are experiencing this kind of water but it seems so much less boring than snow, hail OR rain! And your FANTASTIC photo portrays it very well! Super shot, sissy!

@digitalrn I have to admit it felt pretty good, RIck. I always plan to get to bed early every night and for one reason or another I don't... usually my own fault. I am a night owl by nature but unfortunately live/work in a day world. :)

@buttercup Thanks, Mary... this is the first time I can remember having gropple so often... It's kind of cool... literally and figuratively. :)

@hjbenson Thank you so much, Harry... I would think it's not all that common as it takes just the right combo of weather events to form.
