SWEEPING THE GLOOM AWAY by markp

SWEEPING THE GLOOM AWAY

The sky leaked today, rather a lot, and for rather a long time. At least now I know why Scotland is so green and very full of water. Can't complain though, this is the first really bad day in two weeks, and it is only summer so why should it be nice ? I decided to use this colourful bush, a Broom, to sweep away the gloom. Taken underneath an umbrella !!!

PS. Might not get the chance till Wednesday/ Thursday to post again, going somewhere even more remote.
Love the tongue in cheek title !!A beautiful Broom --the brightness so well captured -It is heavily perfumed -unfortunately it really sets off my hayfever symptoms !!

@beryl Thank you Beryl, sorry to hear about your hay fever, you might suffer up here at the moment, the Broom is in full flower all over the place.

@bailey Thank you very much Julie

@zigzag33 Thank you Linda, if it goes to plan, the remote plan is over to north of Ullapool, then over to Isles of Lewis, Harris, and Skye and then back through the mountains, just need to rain to stay away.
