Any idea what this is ?
Well certainly it shows a summer view, if some what distorted, caused by the curvature of what ever is reflecting the scene. This reflective surface is on a black tube set against a nice blue background. Well now you know don't you ?
No idea, want a clue ? Look into bottom left corner. Still no ? Well should I tell you where I have been today ? Daresbury ( of Alice in Wonderland, author Lewis Carrolls birth place ) to the Cheshire Steam Fair.

Okay the Cheshire Steam Fair has lots of Steam Traction Engines on show and this is the brass ring near the top of the chimney which is reflecting part of the show field towards the main arena. Look closely and in the detail you can see a traction engine passing and myself taking the shot. Simple.
Why is the smoke falling out of the chimney ?
